This role is responsible for the engineering, administration, and continuous improvement of enterprise cloud and identity services, including Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Microsoft Entra ID, M365 email systems, and emerging AI capabilities such as Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio.This is a hands-on engineering role, not a pure architecture position. The ideal candidate will have strong technical depth and the ability to design, build, troubleshoot, and operate cloud and identity solutions in a production environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAzure Platform EngineeringDesign, implement, and support Azure-based infrastructure and servicesOperate and optimize Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environmentsEnsure platform scalability, availability, and cost efficiencyImplement and maintain infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates)Identity & Access ManagementAdminister and support Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)Design and maintain:Single Sign-On (SSO)Conditional Access policiesIdentity lifecycle and governance processesIntegrate enterprise applications with identity solutions (e.g., SailPoint or similar platforms)Microsoft 365 PlatformSupport and manage Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online and email integrationsTroubleshoot issues across Azure, Entra ID, and M365 servicesImplement and support security and compliance controls across the M365 platformAI & Copilot EnablementSupport and operationalize Microsoft Copilot and Copilot StudioAssist with integration of Copilot into enterprise workflows and business applicationsProvide technical support and troubleshooting for AI-enabled productivity toolsOperations & SupportServe as an escalation point for complex platform and identity issuesPerform root cause analysis and implement long-term remediationMonitor platform health, performance, and security postureExcellent communicator both written and verbal.Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated cloud and identity solutionsQualificationsEducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and work experience.Experience3+ years of professional experience in software engineering, application development, systems engineering, or a related technical field.Experience developing, modifying, supporting, and maintaining business applications and systems.Experience participating in cross-functional projects and delivering technology solutions in a business environment.Experience estimating technical work efforts and supporting solution delivery.Additional InformationBase Salary Range: $80,000 - $140,000 (Based on verified experience)Applications will be accepted until the posted deadline August 7, 2026 or until a sufficient candidate pool has been identified.The ultimate compensation offered for the position will depend upon several factors such as skill level, cost of living, experience, and responsibilities.Vericast offers a generous total rewards benefits package that includes medical, dental and vision coverage, 401K with company match and generous PTO allowance.
