Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a talented Quality Manager 2 to join our team based out of our Baltimore, MD location. What You'll Get To Do: * Develop, modify, apply and maintain quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product. * Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place. * Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment. * Design and analyze inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications. * Audits quality systems for deficiency identification and correction. * Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards, and that documentation is compliant with requirements. * May specialize in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality. Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years of quality or manufacturing work experience; OR a Master's degree and 6 years of quality or manufacturing work experience; OR 12 years of quality or manufacturing work experience may be accepted in lieu of Bachelor's degree. * Minimum of 3 years of people leadership experience in a quality or manufacturing team environment. * Cost Account Manager (CAM) Experience. * Experience working with Government agencies. * Experience with ISO 9001/AS9100 Quality Management System certification process. * The ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Clearance * US Citizenship required Preferred Qualifications: * Experienced with dispositioning hardware for quality related issues in a manufacturing facility. * Experienced with Material Review Board (MRB) process. * Experienced with electrical or mechanical design requirements and specifications. * Experienced in Quality and Mission Excellence applications. * Green/Black Belt Certified in Lean Six-sigma. *...
