We are looking for an accomplished Head of Supply Chain Management (SCM) to lead and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations across procurement, planning, logistics, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution. This leadership role is ideal for a strategic professional with extensive experience in building resilient supply chain networks, driving operational excellence, and implementing scalable processes that improve efficiency, service levels, and profitability.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record of leading cross-functional teams, managing large-scale supply chain operations, and delivering measurable improvements in cost, quality, and customer satisfaction. You will collaborate closely with manufacturing, procurement, sales, finance, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of supply chain strategies while supporting business growth.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives and long-term organizational goals.
- Lead end-to-end supply chain operations, including demand planning, procurement, production planning, inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and distribution.
- Drive operational excellence by optimizing supply chain processes, reducing costs, improving service levels, and enhancing productivity.
- Build robust forecasting and inventory planning frameworks to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing excess inventory and stockouts.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain efficiency, supplier performance, logistics effectiveness, and customer fulfillment.
- Lead supplier evaluation, contract negotiations, vendor development, and strategic sourcing initiatives to ensure reliable and cost-effective procurement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align supply chain capabilities with production schedules, sales forecasts, and customer demand.
- Identify operational risks and implement contingency plans to improve supply chain resilience and business continuity.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives by leveraging ERP systems, supply chain planning tools, automation, and data analytics for informed decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, quality standards, safety regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Mentor and develop high-performing supply chain teams while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and innovation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related discipline.
- MBA or postgraduate qualification in Operations or Supply Chain Management is preferred.
- 12–30 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, logistics, procurement, or operations leadership.
- Proven experience managing complex, multi-location supply chain operations in manufacturing, retail, FMCG, consumer goods, industrial, automotive, pharmaceutical, or similar industries.
- Demonstrated success in leading large teams and delivering enterprise-wide operational improvements.
