integrations, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and ensuring seamless
content delivery across platforms.This role sits within the Content Operations function,
acting as the technical backbone for content delivery and a bridge between
Content Providers, Partnerships, Engineering, Product, and customer-facing
teams.The role requires deep expertise in LMS integrations, APIs,
authentication mechanisms, debugging techniques, and end-to-end content
lifecycle management. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving
skills, the ability to navigate ambiguity across systems, and exceptional
communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical
stakeholders.In this role, you willThe Technical Content Consultant – Content Operations will be the primary point of contact for critical cross-functional workstreams,
including but not limited to:Partner Onboarding & IntegrationsCollaborate with global content providers and partners to onboard them into the LMS ecosystem (both one-to-many subscriptions and one-to-one integrations)Conduct technical discovery, feasibility assessments, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) where requiredRead and interpret technical onboarding documentation, API specifications, and integration requirementsGuide partners in setting up endpoints, authentication flows, and launch configurationsConfigure and validate end-to-end integration flows including launch behavior, tracking, and reportingProvide ongoing support to partners while working with APIs and internal toolsContent Subscription & ManagementManage additions/removals in Content Subscriptions and support monthly catalog refresh cyclesEnsure content delivered via APIs or connectors is correctly ingested, processed, and available in client portalsPerform catalog validation checks (missing courses, broken launches, metadata inconsistencies)Work with multiple LMS platforms, including Cornerstone LMS, Saba, EdCast, and SumTotalSupport large-scale catalog operations and ensure overall catalog health and readinessTechnical Debugging & TroubleshootingDebug LMS integrations using browser developer tools, network
logs, HAR files, and tracing tools. Analyze and troubleshoot across standards
including:AICC
(GetParam, PutParam) SCORM
(LMSSetValue, LMSGetValue) xAPI
(Actor, Verb, Statement) LTI (authentication flows, JWT tokens)Investigate issues across the full ecosystem (LMS, APIs, provider systems, and user flows) to identify true root causeWork with APIs for testing, validation, and issue resolutionPerform SQL queries for data validation and troubleshooting where requiredIdentify recurring issues and propose scalable fixes or enhancements Reporting, Metrics & Process OptimizationTrack and analyze key metrics related to content integrations, onboarding, and support trendsContribute to process improvements to reduce manual effort and improve scalabilityCreate and maintain documentation, workflows, and operational playbooksIdentify patterns across issues and provide structured feedback to Product and Engineering teamsIncident Management & SupportAct as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for escalated content-related issuesTroubleshoot issues such as broken launches, tracking discrepancies, bookmarking issues, and content playback defectsWork with internal teams and external providers to drive resolution of complex incidentsMonitor and manage incidents using tools like ServiceNow and JIRA,...
