As Fervo commissions new facilities and expands its operating portfolio, the processes, tools, and team capabilities that support plant operations must grow with it.The Supply Chain Manager, Operations will report to senior supply chain leadership and own the inventory management, MRO category strategy, and operational procurement support functions that enable Fervo's commissioning and plant operations teams to execute. This role is responsible for building the systems, team, and operating model that will support Fervo's facilities for the long term.The Supply Chain Manager, Operations will lead a team that includes the Category Manager for MRO, an Inventory Manager, and Supply Chain Analysts, working closely with Commissioning, Plant Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Finance, and IT to build scalable supply chain and inventory processes that support safe, reliable, and cost-effective plant performance.Success in this position means that Fervo's operating facilities have the materials, spares, and supplier support they need — when they need them — without unnecessary working capital exposure. The Supply Chain Manager will be expected to build the inventory management system and operating model largely from the ground up, establishing the standards, governance, and team capabilities that will scale across a growing plant portfolio. Requirements ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Organizational DevelopmentManage and develop a team including the Category Manager for MRO, Inventory Manager, and Supply Chain Analysts, coaching on stakeholder management, procurement execution, inventory discipline, supplier performance, and data-driven decision making.Build the organizational structure, capabilities, and talent pipeline needed to support current operations and future growth, including hiring, onboarding, and performance management.Foster a team culture focused on accountability, urgency, collaboration, and responsive support for field operations.Commissioning & Plant Operations SupportLead supply chain readiness for commissioning, startup, and ongoing plant operations, ensuring timely availability of materials, equipment, services, spare parts, and consumables across all facilities.Partner with Commissioning, Plant Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to develop supply chain readiness plans for new facilities including critical spares strategies, supplier onboarding, and site support processes.Serve as the primary supply chain partner for operational stakeholders, aligning procurement activity with plant safety, reliability, uptime, cost, and schedule objectives.Inventory Management System & ExecutionLead the buildout of Fervo's inventory management system and operating model, defining roles, governance, service levels, workflows, and handoffs between Supply Chain, Operations, Maintenance, Finance, IT, and site teams.Establish inventory standards for item setup, material master data, storage locations, reorder points, min/max levels, cycle counting, issue and return processes, receiving, and obsolescence management.Drive inventory accuracy, working capital efficiency, and material availability through strong controls, reporting dashboards, and consistent inventory practices across plants and warehouses.MRO Category Management, Analytics & Continuous ImprovementOversee MRO category strategy including sourcing, supplier management, contracting, cost control, and service level performance across maintenance materials, repair services, operating supplies, tools, and...
