Dewberry has an immediate opening for a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer experienced in water and wastewater planning, design and construction phase engineering services in our Parsippany, NJ office. Dewberry offers a comprehensive and very competitive package of insurance programs to regular full-time employees and their eligible dependents the first of the month following their date of hire. Responsibilities
The successful candidate will collaborate and work within multi-disciplined teams for the planning, evaluation and design of water and wastewater system improvements, including: pump stations, pipelines, storage tanks, and treatment facilities. Perform technical discipline tasks including research, reports, design, specifications, and plan preparation for water and wastewater projects.
Required Skills & Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
- 4-6 years of related experience. Specific experience preparing reports and design plans and specifications for water and wastewater system projects in NJ / NY, including pipelines, pump stations, tanks, and treatment facilities.
- NJ PE License strongly preferred or ability to obtain within 1 year.
- Experience with hydraulic modeling including experience with WaterCAD and SewerCAD strongly preferred.
- Experience with AutoCAD (AutoCAD Civil 3D a plus)
- Familiar with GIS software.
- Experience coordinating engineering work and interfacing with other engineering and support disciplines.
- Experience interfacing with clients and developing client relationships.
- Willingness to travel, as some travel may be required.
- Driving is a requirement of the position. A clean driving record is required.

Salary Range
The projected range for this position is $97,038 to $124,763 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly. These ranges are for Parsippany only.
