Due to rapid growth, we currently have a Reporting role available in Newcastle.Job DescriptionSGS AUSTRALIA IS LOOKING FOR REPORTING ASSISTANT Permanent positionNewcastle locationHours of availability 5am to 6pm and WeekendsIn this role, you will be responsible for collating, reviewing and preparing technical data from laboratory testing and sample analysis activities. Your attention to detail will ensure reports are accurate, compliant and delivered within agreed timeframes.This is a great opportunity for someone with coal laboratory experience who enjoys working with data, quality processes and delivering reliable outcomes for customers. Flexibility is critical, working as part of a fast-paced team. Key responsibilitiesEnsure reporting of results to customers is accurate and on timeMaintain harmonious relationships with clients and within the operation centreMaintain customer databaseGenerate, coordinate and distribute project documentation as requiredAssist with Ad Hoc projects and ProductionData interpretation and Data EntrySample dispatch & receiptBe compliant to all SGS QHSE and HR policies and proceduresAt all times, comply with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional ConductQualificationsQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Previous coal sampling and testing experience would be an advantage. The successful candidate will also have:Two years coal experience preferably within a laboratory environmentDatabase experienceAbility to meet KPI’sComputer skills in Word, Excel and CCLAS essentialExcellent time management skills to handle tight, fast paced and pressured deadlinesDealing with problems and pressures from customer demand in a timely mannerExcellent project management skills are essential To apply, click "Apply" and submit your application.
