Job Description
What is the opportunity?
In this role, you will be responsible for the Product Development of our Currency Overlay and FX Standing Instruction products, providing market leading trusted FX solutions that deliver transparent execution, operational efficiency, and leading digital client experiences.
What will you do?
- Definition, implementation, and governance of the RBC Investor Services FX product set (with a primary focus on Currency Overlay Services), operating models, product standards and technical architecture to provide market leading trusted FX solutions to clients that deliver transparent execution, operational efficiency, and leading digital experiences.
- End-to-end ownership of RBC Investor Services’ full FX product suite, maintaining & developing operating models, the product roadmap, and responsibility for the execution of strategic initiatives.
- Cultivate a deep understanding of all the drivers of FX product revenue & costs and continually seek out and initiate opportunities that increase profitability.
- Client facing responsibilities acting both as the onboarding lead for new clients and the go-to individual for any client specific FX solution design requirements.
- Maintain and build strong working relationships with key stakeholders necessary to navigate the role including, but not limited to, Market Services Execution, Business Development, Client Success, Technology & Operations, Marketing, Group Risk, Compliance, Finance Group, and Client Solutions.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:
- University degree
- Recent university graduate or an individual early stage of their career
- Proficiency in Python and/or other scripting languages
- Experience with data visualization tools (eg. Power BI)
- Curiosity about financial markets and a commitment to developing deep domain knowledge
Nice-to-have:
- Experience in either a front office or an operational role in a buy-side or sell-side firm
- French language

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.
Pay Range
The expected pay range for this position is:
$55,000.00 - $90,000.00The pay range provided is for the primary work location referenced in the Additional Job Details section of this job posting. Pay ranges may differ based on location. If the posting lists multiple job locations, a recruiter can confirm availability of the role and the relevant pay rage for the additional locations listed.
