Position Summary The Senior Software Engineer for GPS Global Technical Services (GTS) IT Systems plays a crucial role in delivering IT capabilities and services that support our GTS functions, primarily asset management. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to understand their information technology and digital enablement needs. This role involves interpreting business requirements from various business units and functional groups and translating them into delivered technical solutions. Additionally, you will support the execution of Computer Systems Validation processes. Key Responsibilities * Application Development and Customization: Design, develop, and customize Maximo Application Suite solutions to meet specific business needs, including creating and modifying Maximo objects, MBOs, Java classes, automation scripts, and integrations. * System Integration and Configuration: Design, develop and implement integrations between Maximo and other enterprise systems using tools such as REST APIs, Web Services, and Maximo Integration Framework (MIF). Perform complex configuration, customization, and enhancements to optimize system performance and functionality, including workflow design, BIRT reporting, IBM Maximo Mobile, and user interface modifications. * Data Migration: Execute Maximo data migration strategies using tools like IBM MIF, and ETL platforms ensuring accurate data transformation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, map, and validate data integrity, resolve complex technical issues during migration. * Technical Leadership and Support: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and support staff.
