Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow HAM Developer to implement, configure, and support Hardware Asset Management (HAM Pro) solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The role focuses on managing hardware lifecycle processes, ensuring asset accuracy in the CMDB, improving procurement-to-retirement workflows, and enabling cost-effective asset governance.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and configure ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM Pro) module.
Manage end-to-end hardware asset lifecycle:
Request and procurement
Receiving and deployment
Tracking and usage
Maintenance and warranty management
Retirement and disposal
Configure asset models, categories, and stock rules.
Maintain accurate hardware inventory aligned with CMDB and Discovery data.
Work with procurement and finance teams to manage asset cost and lifecycle tracking.
Configure workflows for asset approvals, assignment, and fulfillment.
Ensure integration of HAM with:
ITSM (Incident, Request, Change)
CMDB and Discovery
Procurement systems
Identify and resolve data discrepancies between asset records and CMDB.
Develop reports and dashboards for hardware utilization, compliance, and lifecycle status.
Support audit and compliance requirements for hardware assets.
Automate asset lifecycle processes using Flow Designer and scripts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve asset governance and accuracy.
Support platform upgrades, testing, and production releases.
Required Skills
3–8 years of ServiceNow platform experience with focus on ITAM/HAM.
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow HAM Pro module.
Strong understanding of:
Hardware Asset Lifecycle Management
IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes
CMDB structure and relationships
Experience with:
ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts)
Flow Designer and workflows
Glide APIs
Experience with Discovery and inventory data sources.
Knowledge of ITIL processes.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with:
Software Asset Management (SAM Pro)
IntegrationHub
Procurement and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Coupa)
Performance Analytics and reporting
Experience integrating HAM with:
SCCM / Intune / Jamf
Cloud asset tracking tools

Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – Preferred
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – HAM (CIS-HAM) – Highly Preferred
ITIL Foundation Certification – Preferred
