Our team of 700 colleagues from 60+ nations shares a passion for tech, an ambition for constant improvement, and a relentless drive to bring the best experience to more than 40k vacation rental hosts and 4 million annual guests.Your future teamYou will join our Performance Marketing department, leading the Display & App team of three Specialists and additionally some external Marketing Agencies. Your team drives user acquisition and engagement across paid social, programmatic display, and app promotion — for both guests and hosts. You report directly to the VP of Performance Marketing and work closely with Paid Search, Affiliate & Partnerships, BI, and MarTech.Your role in this journeyLead a team of Marketing Specialists across App Promotion, Display, and Paid Social.Challenge how we do performance marketing today – question and develop existing bidding logic, channel mix, and team processes; bring perspectives we haven't considered yet, not just execute the existing roadmap.Bring the team and setup to world-class.Turn the team into AI champions – actively scout and pilot AI tools and workflows to give the team a structural edge.Own outcomes with a bias toward action – test fast, decide with data, and iterate rather than wait for the perfect setup.Rebuild bidding strategies from break-even models toward LTV-based approaches, with granular calculations per channel, OS, and geo.Own and build across all marketing channels - existing and new ones.Rework a scalable creative testing framework to systematically improve ad performance.Expand into new channels (TikTok, YouTube, etc.) with a test-and-scale approach.Drive full-funnel user journey thinking – moving away from 3rd-party remarketing toward in-house, segment-specific strategies.Audit and fix campaign settings: targeting consistency across languages, countries, and platforms.Collaborate closely with BI, MarTech, and the Bidding Squad to improve and implement automated bidding.Coach and elevate your team – set priorities, drive accountability, and develop each team member.Your backpack is filled with3+ years of hands-on experience in Paid Social, Display Advertising, or App Marketing.A track record of challenging and improving existing processes.Genuine curiosity about AI in marketing – you've already used AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) to actively change how you or your team works.Confidence to disagree – you can back up a different point of view with data and experience.Experience with LTV-based bidding or mobile user acquisition economics.Experience with attribution models is a plus. Strong analytical mindset – comfortable with large datasets, attribution models, and building business cases from data.Experience leading or coaching a small team (3–8 people) to deliver ambitious results.A testing-first mentality: structured approaches to creative testing, audience segmentation, and channel evaluation.Familiarity with remarketing setup and full-funnel campaign architecture.Fluent in English; German or any additional language is a plus.University degree in business, marketing, economics, data science, or a related field.Proficiency in Excel/Sheets; SQL or coding skills are a strong plus.Our adventure includesImpact: Shape the future of travel with products used by millions of guests and thousands of hosts.
