Principal Product Manager, AI Applications

Bengaluru, IndiaPosted Jul 23, 2026

Our mission is to transform how people and machines work together to push the boundaries of human productivity. A leader in Industrial AI, Augury helps the world’s manufacturers leverage real-time production insights to drive new levels of efficiency. Combining predictive and prescriptive AI technology with industry expertise, production teams can proactively address alerts, minimize downtime, reduce asset costs, and maximize yield and capacity. Our customers achieve payback in six months or less, enabling global scale. We're looking for team members excited to partner with the world's manufacturers and build the future of production together.

You are a Principal Product Manager that will lead key deliverables within Augury’s agentic  industrial workforce.

This role sits at the intersection of industrial AI, process health, IoT, enterprise software, and operational workflows. You will define and scale agentic products that automate and optimize customer production capabilities and generate Augury’s new agentic SKUs.

You will partner closely with Engineering, Data Science, Design, GTM, Operations, and strategic customers to take products from concept through launch and adoption. This is a highly strategic and hands-on role for someone who thrives in complex environments and enjoys turning ambitious ideas into scalable products with measurable customer impact.

What You’ll Own

Agent for Operational Processes

You will own Augury’s Operations Agent — a persona-based AI agent built for production operations teams, process engineers, and shift supervisors. The Operations Agent connects to customer historians, process systems, and production data to monitor KPIs continuously, surface anomalies and root-cause hypotheses before they become incidents, and progress toward autonomous recommendations within customer-defined guardrails. You will drive this product from active design-partner validation through commercial launch.

Agent for Exploration

You will own the Industrial Data Exploration Agent — Augury’s cross-source investigation surface that enables reliability engineers, RSMs, and site users to query across machine health data, CMMS work orders, and historian process data through a unified natural language experience. Where today’s users navigate disconnected systems to build a single machine narrative, the Exploration Agent brings that context together in one conversation. This agent is both a standalone product and the shared intelligence surface that every persona-based agent in Augury’s suite builds on.

Additional Agentic Applications

You will define and sequence Augury’s emerging agent portfolio beyond the initial suite — including agents for maintenance planning, corporate intelligence, and cross-site analysis — and shape the longer-horizon vision for an Agent and Workflow Studio that enables customers to configure and deploy tailored industrial AI experiences across their operations. This means translating validated design-partner signals into prioritized expansion bets, developing the commercialization model for multi-agent offerings, and positioning Augury as the central platform for industrial data, intelligence, and action.

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of technical Product Management or equivalent product leadership experience
  • Experience building and launching AI (agentic) applications
  • Deep familiarity with industrial environments — manufacturing, operations, maintenance, reliability, or supply chain — and the personas who work in them
  • Experience and understanding of building complex data systems
  • Proven track record taking complex products from ambiguity through launch and commercial impact — without someone defining the problem for you first
  • Familiarity with AI-native product development — you can drive decisions on agentic systems, LLM evaluation, and production AI reliability without needing an engineer to translate
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills across Engineering, Design, Data Science, GTM, and customer-facing teams
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments

Preferred

  • Experience at both large and small operations
  • Experience with industrial data sources: process historians, CMMS platforms, or equivalent operational enterprise systems
  • Experience with conversational AI, natural language interfaces, or AI-assisted workflow products
  • Experience partnering with design partners or strategic enterprise customers to co-develop and launch new product offerings

Why This Role Matters

Augury has spent over a decade building the world’s most trusted machine health platform — helping global manufacturers prevent failures, reduce unplanned downtime, and protect their most critical production assets. Now we are making a harder and more important bet: that AI agents can do more than alert and inform — they can reason, recommend, and act alongside the people running the world’s most critical production environments.

The agents you build here will not be demos or experiments. They will be deployed in active plants, used by real operators, and measured by the value they create in production. You will not be managing a feature roadmap — you will be defining what industrial AI looks like in practice, for some of the world’s largest industrial organizations.

Augury is a people-first organization. We believe in fostering an inclusive environment in which employees feel encouraged to share their unique perspectives, leverage their strengths, and act authentically. We know that diverse teams are strong teams, and we welcome those from all backgrounds and varying experiences. We are committed to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment. We believe that diversity is more than just good intentions, and we are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.

Augury is a proud equal opportunity employer, we strive to create a work environment in which everyone, all applicants, employees, customers, guests, and vendors feel safe and comfortable. We commit to maintain a workplace that is free of any type of harassment and does not tolerate anyone intimidating, humiliating, or hurting others. We prohibit willful discrimination based on age, gender, ethnicity, race, color, religion, political opinions, sexual orientation, sexual identity or expression, military or veteran status, disability or any other characteristic protected by law.
