As the Manager - Electrical, BTB, you will ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all electrical systems, power distribution networks, automation systems, and energy management programs. You will also support continuous improvement initiatives and help maximize production uptime.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will supervise, plan, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for all electrical equipment, including HT/LT panels, transformers, motors, VFDs, PLCs, SCADA, and control systems.
  • You will ensure an uninterrupted power supply to all plant equipment and utilities.
  • You will troubleshoot electrical issues in real time to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
  • You will lead the electrical aspects of new equipment installations, upgrades, and infrastructure expansion projects.
  • You will coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
  • You will monitor and analyze energy consumption across the facility.
  • You will implement energy-saving initiatives and drive improvements in power factor performance.
  • You will manage, mentor, and develop a team of electrical engineers and technicians.
  • You will maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including single-line diagrams (SLDs), maintenance logs, SOPs, and compliance reports.
  • You will prepare and present periodic reports to senior management on equipment performance, downtime analysis, and project status.
     

Qualification and Experience

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
  • You have 10+ years of hands-on experience with tyre manufacturing equipment such as Banbury mixers, curing presses, and calendars; this will be considered a strong advantage.
  • You have proven experience as an Electrical Engineer, preferably within the manufacturing or tyre manufacturing industry.
  • You possess strong knowledge of HT/LT systems, drives, PLCs, SCADA, and industrial automation.
  • You demonstrate excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
