Job Description Summary

This role provides enterprise-wide leadership for Planning, Materials Management, and Inventory Optimization across GE HealthCare, responsible for establishing the enterprise vision, governance framework, standards, and best practices that enable world-class supply chain planning performance. The position owns the design, continuous improvement, and deployment of Integrated Business Planning (IBP), master scheduling, distribution planning, inventory management, and planning operating models across businesses, plants, and regions. Acting as a strategic thought leader, this role drives process standardization, digital transformation, performance management, and capability building, ensuring consistent adoption of planning excellence methodologies throughout the organization. The leader manages a global team of 25–35 professionals and partners with business, operations, and functional leaders to define strategy, influence enterprise decision-making, and deliver scalable solutions that improve inventory productivity, service levels, forecast accuracy, and operational execution across GE HealthCare.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Owns and executes the Integrated Business Planning process including monthly cycle execution, continuous improvement, and digital tool strategy & deployment. 
  • Continue migration to more strategic, executive level IPB execution and review. 
  • Facilitate efficient materials management through establishment of standards across the organization, optimizing for fully landed cost and use of cash. 
  • Drive best in class tool deployment like Kinaxis and adoption across the factories. 
  • Provide leadership to master data and collaborate across planning teams, plants, regions, and sourcing on an overall data management strategy. 
  • Continue to lead evolution of FG planning.  
  • Drive development of S&OE process, roles & responsibilities, and deployment of the process across GEHC, collaborating with plants and regions. 
  • Serve as a catalyst for rolling execution driven by customer dates.
  • Separate near-term execution from S&OP planning. 
  • Drive digital strategy and deployment in this space. 
  • Coordinate with finance teams, FP&A, sub-segments and senior leaders on inventory. 
  • Effectively lead and engage team of planning professionals.  This leader will own development and career growth of their respective team members. 
  • Provide thought leadership across ISC, segments, & regions to leverage go to market and planning strategies to cost effectively meet customer needs. 
  • Leads global material planning & inventory team to optimize network health, inventory, on time delivery and other key metrics. 
  • Owns the planning and inventory value stream: Drive lean culture in leading the enterprise as well as continuous improvement of the planning & inventory value stream to create flow where possible. 
  • Leverage technology and advancing logic as part of the roadmap of continuous improvement of the value stream. 
  • Drives and is accountable for operational excellence of assigned program(s), with duties including project reviews, feasibility, cost benefit analysis, prioritization, initiation, execution and closure for all project work related to the program.
  • Works closely with Global partners to integrate seamlessly related digital systems roadmaps and strategies, leveraging platform scalabilities. 
  • Clearly communicates program status, issues, risks, plans, etc. to senior management.
  • Manages budgets and contracts associated with program(s) or initiative(s). 
  • Manages activities of project team resources to support and deliver solutions relating to the program(s). 
  • Maintains effective working relationships with peers and vendors to seamlessly integrate the program area into the overall strategic objectives and activities of the organization. 
  • Coordinates program support activities, including the development of internal and external communications, establishing roadmaps and benchmarks, developing implementation, testing and training plans and ensuring the successful transition to support and maintenance teams.

Qualifications/Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or operations field with a minimum of 7 years of experience in an operations or supply chain leadership role 
  • Previous experience in materials planning preferred 
  • Proven leadership skills including the ability to motivate cross functional & international teams to achieve business goals 
  • Strong business acumen, including a financial background 
  • Understanding of Healthcare Service business and FDA regulated industry 

We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening. For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $224,000.00-$336,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
