This role offers: * Deep exposure to advanced hardware and system architectures * High autonomy and editorial ownership * Long-term technical growth in a world-class R&D environment * A mission-driven documentation role focused on engineering impact rather than marketing Role Description This position is ideal for a bilingual French–English technical writer with at least 2–5 years of experience in microelectronics or closely related high-technology fields, such as telecommunications, AI/ML, robotics, or advanced computing. You will join a small, highly technical Technical Writing Team (TWT) within QITC and contribute to end-user documentation for state-of-the-art NoC technologies. Your work will directly support the deployment of innovations that will reach the public in the coming years. In addition to authoring technical documentation, you will contribute to the broader documentation ecosystem by: * Defining and enforcing terminology, naming conventions, and style guidelines * Proposing and improving document templates and editorial standards * Participating in the definition of content- and information-management workflows * Helping define and supporting a global LLM-enabled strategy for QITC end-user documentation and internal engineering documents Content is authored within a strongly typed editorial workflow, producing English-language text and visual material directly in a relational, object-oriented authoring database. Publications are delivered periodically to a large internal audience of Qualcomm hardware and software designers, architects, and verification engineers. Technical Environment and Growth QITC operates in a highly demanding, engineering-driven R&D context. As a result, you will progressively acquire deep technical expertise and develop the ability to engage with engineers on equal footing. You will: * Build sufficient technical mastery to author documentation autonomously * Translate complex architectures and specifications into clear, precise documentation * Communicate effectively with multiple audiences, from system architects to design and verification engineers Over time, this position enables you to become a technical communication subject-matter expert across QITC technologies. You will extract and validate information from diverse sources, including: * Specifications, design documents, and presentation material * Source code and configuration files * Recorded presentations and internal knowledge bases * Customer-support and issue-tracking systems Information is obtained through document analysis, meeting participation (often conducted in French), and, more rarely, one-on-one interviews with engineering Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
