Description:

Shift: Days 8-Shifts

What you will do:

Responsible for unit dose medication distribution and control

Central operations   .

Demonstrates competence with automated dispensing units 

Assists pharmacists in preparing and dispensing compounded sterile products 

Contributes to the safe and efficient operation of the Pharmacy Department. 

Adheres to all safety, infection control and colleague health policies and procedures

Qualifications:

High School plus specialized training: CPhT Training. Associate Degree preferred. 

CPhT required.    

Registered with Iowa Board of Pharmacy. 

1 year as a pharmacy technician II at a MercyOne Hospital 

Excellent math and computer skills are required.
