Job Purpose
- Leads manufacturing design quality improvements by independently analyzing complex processes, driving corrective actions, and implementing solutions that improve productivity, cost, and quality performance. Serves as a technical resource for cross-functional teams, applying advanced quality methodologies to ensure robust and compliant manufacturing processes.
Key Accountabilities
- Independently analyze manufacturing processes to identify quality risks and improvement opportunities
- Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Develop and execute quality plans, audits, and process validations
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve quality issues
- Mentor entry-level staff on quality tools and best practices
- Track and report quality performance metrics
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
Minimum Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum Experience
- At least 3 years in quality engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field
- Experience conducting root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Experience performing audits, validations, or process reviews
- Cross-functional collaboration with engineering or manufacturing teams
- Working knowledge of quality systems and regulatory standards
- Demonstrated continuous improvement contributions

Travel requirements
- Should be able to travel both domestic and international, upto ~ 25% of the time annually.
Working Conditions
- Must be able to move at least 50 pounds over a distance of approx 50 ft, without requiring any assistance.
- Should be able to stand and walk around the plant at least 8 hours a days.
- Must possess a valid motor vehicle driver's license.
- Primarily office and manufacturing floor-based
- Frequent interaction with operators, engineers, and production managers
- Exposure to operational equipment and process hazards
- Participation in audits, investigations, and cross-functional meetings
- Occasional site visits across facilities
- Overtime: Up to 5 hours per workweek. May occassionaly have to work weekends.
- Shift: Will be working 2nd shift, starting ~ 5 pm to 1:30 am
