Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Senior Living Visits
Part-Time | Ocean County, NJ
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our Senior Living team serving Ocean County, NJ.
In this role, you'll provide one-on-one physical therapy services to adult and geriatric clients in independent living, assisted living, and senior living communities throughout Ocean County. Working under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, you'll help clients improve mobility, maximize independence, and safely remain in the place they call home.

Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatments and interventions as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Assist clients in improving mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and overall functional independence.
- Carry out individualized treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist.
- Monitor client progress and communicate changes or concerns to the supervising therapist.
- Educate clients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, mobility techniques, safety strategies, and use of assistive devices.
- Accurately document treatments and client progress using BAYADA's electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current New Jersey Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.
- Graduate of a Physical Therapist Assistant program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
- Minimum of one year of experience working under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Home health or senior living experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout Ocean County.

Additional Information:
Base Pay, depending upon qualifications, status, and subject to negotiation:
$48.00-$51.00 per point
