A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.Local Team Collaboration:We take pride in our well-established team of 16 Physicians and 6 APPs.Work alongside highly trained specialists across the continuum of specialties.Qualifications:Board-certified or eligible in family medicine or internal medicine.All levels of experience considered. New graduates, residents, and fellows are welcome to apply.We proudly sponsor H1B visa candidates and provide in-house visa specialists, licensing, and credentialing support. All required filing fees for visas are covered by Sound.Scheduling:Nocturnist shifts are set as 7 pm-7 am.Block scheduling is best. The current cadence is 7 shifts on and 7 shifts off.Key Responsibilities:Manage admissions, cross-coverage calls, and Rapid Responses throughout the night in collaboration with the Advanced Practice Provider.Open ICU with minimal expectation of our team - full critical care support.No procedures or code blue response required.Living and working in Lake St. Louis:Suburban living in Lake St Louis - one of the fastest-growing communities in all of Missouri.The hospital is located on the lake and provides the opportunity to be a part of new growth and development: new residential communities, new schools, new shopping stores, or you can be just a few minutes from rural living.
