BAE Systems is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Principal Program Control Analyst to join our Program Finance team within the F-35 Solutions Product Line. This key role will directly support the Program Finance Manager for the F-35 Development Operational Capabilities area, acting as a trusted advisor and contributing to the success of critical development programs. The candidate will also serve as the operations program finance SME providing mentorship and guidance to the overall Development Finance team.

This position is a hybrid role requiring on-site presence in Manchester, New Hampshire.

As the Operational Capabilities lead, essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Mentor & Develop Team Members: Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior analysts, fostering their growth and contributing to a high-performing team.

    • Drive Financial Insights: Analyze program financial performance, provide proactive risk/opportunity assessments, and deliver clear, concise reporting to stakeholders to support informed decision-making.

    • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Effectively interface with a diverse program team to understand financial requirements and ensure seamless program execution.

    • Be a Trusted Business Partner: Build strong relationships with program stakeholders, offering expert financial analysis and support throughout the program lifecycle. This role must act as the strategic partner to the portfolio, providing leadership, expertise and guidance to the program area leadership, program managers, and the members of the finance team.



Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of work experience or equivalent experience; alternatively, a master’s degree and 6 years of work experience

  • Experience in Earned Value Management, both procedures and systems

  • Experience in Program / Project Finance in a defense environment is required

  • Experience managing programs across various contract types (CPFF, FFP, T&M), including analyzing touch labor and material

  • Experience with Material Reporting System (MRS), Direct Material Forecast Report (DMFR), Dataview and other factory reporting

  • Experience with project forecasting and analysis, including program costs, revenue recognition, profit, cash, and collections

  • Experience with Cobra, Oracle, Hyperion/Smartview, ProPricer, and iPortal

  • Ability to solve problems and make decisions with sound judgment while complying with policies and procedures

  • Demonstrated problem solving and in-depth analytical skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Ability to prioritize and manage a multi-tasked workload in a fast-paced environment with ability to meet time sensitive deadlines

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and present financial data to other functions in an accurate, concise, and understandable manner

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, in particular Excel



Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $118747 - $201870

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
