Role responsibilities
The Production Coordinator manages the production schedule for the sawmill, kilns, and planer while facilitating communication between Sales, Logistics, and Operations. They are responsible for overseeing the shipping department to meet on-time delivery targets and maximizing profit through order file commitments.
Requirements
Candidates must have a high school diploma, though post-secondary education in wood processing or engineering is strongly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, and strong organizational and leadership skills are required.
