We’re building a sustainable network of high-tech, end-to-end manufacturing solutions to better withstand disruptive events, serve scientific discovery, and reach those in need. For more information, please visit www.resilience.comBrief Job DescriptionThis position performs autonomous execution of skilled trade tasks associated with the maintenance of site facilities equipment. **Work Schedule - 12 hour day shift operating on a 2/2/3 schedule from 6:00am - 6:30pmJob Responsibilities (Including Key Result Areas, Specific Accountabilities, Tasks, Etc.) Read SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and excerpts from technical documentationEnsure proper documentation practices during maintenance processesPerform preventative (scheduled) and corrective/emergency (unscheduled) maintenance of equipment, systems, and/or facilities without supervisionConduct troubleshooting activitiesGather, organize, and communicate operational information to othersParticipate in spill control, handling of hazardous materials, and first aidUse CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document all maintenance activitiesIdentify temporary and permanent fixes to address issuesMonitor equipment and/or systems for performance and problem indicatorsRead, understand, and comply with cGMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), including general safety, and lock out tag outReport process deviations when they occurWear gowning, and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as requiredMonitor and analyze Facilities equipment performancePerform, in order of priority, work required in response to process equipment requests received through the Work Request SystemRead and interpret diagrams, drawings, and other schematicsRecommend and initiate activities to ensure area and equipment is maintained in a state of compliance.Perform infrared, vibration, pressure, superheat, and subcooling readingsPerform daily Facility equipment checksMonitor building management alarm system and respond appropriatelyPull necessary parts to complete a work order or ticketProvide input on the engineering of replacement partsEducation, Qualifications, Skills, and ExperienceMinimum RequirementsExperience in a regulated or cGMP environmentStrong communication skills, written and verbal skillsRequires relevant skills, or licensure in one of the following:State of Ohio Boiler LicenseWater PurificationIndustrial Maintenance CertificationUniversal Section 608 HVAC LicenseElectrical/Electronic CertificationInfrared, Vibration, Ultrasound CertificationElectrical, HVAC/Refrigeration, Pipe Fitting, or Fire Alarm Journeyman LicenseAutomated Material HandlingPreferred BackgroundHigh school diploma and certification in a skilled trade (electrical, boiler operations, etc.)Associate degree in a technical discipline3-5 years' Experience with building fire systems, plumbing, lighting, HVAC equipment (boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air handlers,...
