Coordinate use and preparation of introductory and general chemistry laboratories and teach select introductory chemistry laboratory courses.
Minimum Qualifications
Two years of experience working in a laboratory
Demonstrated experience leading/instructing laboratory courses in a college/university setting
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Knowledge of experimental procedures and experimental design, laboratory curriculum, and chemical safety
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
Ability to work with persons from culturally diverse backgrounds
Preferred Qualification
PhD in chemistry or related field
At least one year professional experience leading/instructing laboratory course in a college/university setting
Experience supervising student employees in a higher education setting.
