Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.Responsibilities:This role will be responsible for managing incoming client queries in relation to Custody Asset Servicing activity, being Corporate Actions, Income and Proxy VotingBe able to manage query activity within the department guidelines and client KPI response time requirementsManages, tracks and mitigates risk incoming client responses, customer funding, claims processing, payment allocation and corporate action processingManage multiple client queries on a daily basis, including those of moderate to high level complexity to achieve operating efficiency and a high level of productivityMinimizes risk to the bank through the appropriate application of procedural requirements and adherence to audit and control policiesParticipates in compliance related procedures and controls activitiesContinuously looks for and designs business required documents to reduce the number of manual touch points and client self serviceable queriesAct as a client champion for a small number of key clients, being their first level of escalation point, managing client calls, and on site client meetings when requiredDevelop key operational working relationships with colleagues in other Service teams, Operations, Product, Country Management, and the Client Exec teamsAssists team member during periods of high volume work, provides back-up coverage, and performs other duties as assigned by supervisorAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualifications:Relevant Custody experienceBasic to intermediate level experience in a related roleIn-depth knowledge of securities processing, combined with a solid understanding of hedge fund industry standards and practicesCommunicates with tact and diplomacy in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive informationDeals with most problems independentlyHas some latitude to resolve complex issues related to the analysis of hedge fund activitiesEducation:Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience This site uses only strictly necessary cookies to perform basic functions.
