About the role:We are seeking passionate and motivated Data Engineer to support our Costa Rica Manufacturing sites.Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data engineering and analytical solutions that are easy to consume.Job responsibilities include:Design, build, and deploy reports utilizing Power BI toolDevelops or modifies data models, ETL processes, and BI tool solutions (SSIS, Python, GitLab).Building required infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from various data sources using AWS and SQL technologies.Develop and improve the current data architecture, emphasizing data security, data quality and timeliness, scalability, and extensibilityProactively recommends requirements and/or process improvements, automation opportunities and best practicesPartners with business product owners to set and align business prioritiesResponsible for validating that the delivered product meets the strategic business objectives through activities such as demos, etc.Provide support on issues before, during, and after deploymentInteracts with the business areas and production units to understand all data requirements to develop business insights and translates them into data structures and data model requirements to TEC Ops teamMinimum Requirements:Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science or related field.3+ years Data Engineering experienceWell-versed in Agile ScrumExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to present solutions to business partnersMedium to Advance English Level Please submit Resume in EnglishPrefered Qualifications:Experience working with Power BI and python preferredExperience with GitLab is a plusRequisition ID: 626746As a leader in medical science for more than 40 years, we are committed to solving the challenges that matter most – united by a deep caring for human life.
