As a R&D Tech II here at Honeywell, you will play a key role in supporting research and development activities by conducting experiments, analyzing data, and assisting in the development of innovative technologies. You will contribute to advancing Honeywell's cutting-edge solutions and help drive technical excellence within the team.
 

 

In this role, you will impact the successful execution of R&D projects by providing technical support, ensuring quality and accuracy in experimental work, and collaborating with engineers and scientists to bring new technologies from concept to reality.
 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct laboratory testing following established procedures.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, consumables, and chemical inventory.
  • Perform basic maintenance on laboratory instrumentation.
  • Verify data quality.
  • Communicate with internal customers on data and methods.
  • Some limited weekend coverage.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum associates degree in scientific discipline, or 2+ years of experience in analytical laboratory or chemical field.

 

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor’s degree in scientific discipline.
  • Analytical chemistry experience in techniques such as organic physical properties such as density, cold flow properties, wet chemical analysis including titrations, combustion elemental analysis, chromatography.
  • Strong analytical problem solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Scientific writing and presentation skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of and adherence to laboratory safety protocols.
  • Experience handling hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals.
