Geotab is seeking an Inbound Sales Development Representative who will develop sales activity within assigned segments through inbound prospecting, synergizing with the Marketing and Events teams to pinpoint and cultivate prospect opportunities for strategic follow-up, and nurturing potential customers who have shown an interest in our solutions before handing them over to the appropriate team. What you'll do:
As an Inbound Sales Development Representative, your key area of responsibility will be qualifying inbound leads, making initial contact with prospects, gathering detailed customer information, nurturing leads through regular follow-up, scheduling appointments with the appropriate sales team members, and maintaining accurate CRM records. You will need to work closely with Geotab's Sales, Business Development, and Marketing teams to provide feedback on campaigns, sales strategies, and lead generation activities.
To be successful in this role you will be a customer-centric communicator with strong listening skills and excellent verbal and written communication abilities. In addition, the successful candidate will have a strong sales and technical aptitude, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain CRM accuracy, and translate technical solutions to meet customer needs.
How you'll make an impact:

Maximize opportunities for partners and BDMs by generating leads and converting prospects into customers.

Maintain technical knowledge of the Geotab ecosystem and act as the subject matter expert to help partners and prospects better understand the solutions available to their customer base.
- Interact with prospective customers via inbound and outbound channels, including live chat and website submissions, to engage prospects and successfully demonstrate Geotab's capabilities.

Effectively communicate and coordinate to set appointments for Business Development team members, ensuring a smooth handover to the appropriate team.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and lead status in Geotab's CRM (Salesforce) while upholding organizational SLAs on inbound requests.
- Collaborate with Sales, BDM, and Marketing teams to provide feedback on campaigns, sales strategies, and lead generation activities.

Strive to meet and exceed both personal and team goals in net subscriptions while building company credibility, brand value, and trust within the assigned business channel.
What you'll bring to this role:

1-3 years of experience in technical sales; understanding of fleet management and telematics preferred, with channel sales experience or knowledge an asset.

Post-Secondary Diploma/Degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be substituted.

Strong customer service orientation with excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to develop rapport with potential customers.

Understanding of sales techniques and methods used for lead qualification, with the ability to align product pitches to partner needs and core business objectives.

Strong aptitude for understanding technical and business requirements, with the ability to translate technical solutions to meet customer needs.

Technical competence using software programs including Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and CRM tools such as Salesforce.

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously; entrepreneurial mindset with comfort working in a flat organization.
