This includes overseeing a team of senior auditors, and guest auditors where applicable, working either on-site or remotely. Ensures that audits are planned and executed in accordance with the Global Internal Audit Standards and the Internal Audit methodology.As a member of the group audit team, the team leader contributes to the ongoing development and implementation of internal audit methodology, while providing leadership, guidance, and support to assigned staff.Responsibilities:Audit ExecutionLead the detailed planning, execution, and completion of assigned audit engagementsTranslate audit objectives and scope into clear task allocation for team members, ensuring audit programs and testing plans are appropriately designed and executed efficientlyOrganize and facilitate team working sessions throughout the assignment to plan activities, discuss results, resolve issues, and ensure consistency of audit judgmentsApply sound professional judgment and ensure that audit findings and conclusions are supported by sufficient and appropriate evidenceEnsure successful delivery of assigned audit engagements, ensuring effective coordination and performance of the audit team as a wholeEnsure audit engagements are executed in full compliance with the Group Internal Audit methodology and professional standardsSupport the Audit Director in ensuring the quality of audit work and contributing to quality final audit reportsTeam LeadershipSupervise, coordinate, and coach the team of auditors either on-site or remotely.Onboard new and guest auditors, ensuring clarity on audit objectives, scope, methodology, and individual responsibilitiesAllocate work, monitor progress, and review audit documentation to ensure quality and consistency.Stakeholder InteractionAct as the primary day‑to‑day contact for auditees during the engagement.Follow‑up & Continuous ImprovementSupport the monitoring of remediation actions related to assigned audits.Contribute to continuous improvement of audit practices, tools, and ways of working, and share best practices within the audit team.Qualifications6 years of experience in Testing Inspection and Certification (TIC) industry, or in external / internal audit, or relevant managerial experience in a finance or non‑financial operational roleHigh ethical standards, sound judgment, and the ability to handle sensitive matters with discretionDemonstrated experience in leading international teams and projects is preferredSound knowledge of internal control principles, risk management, and governance frameworksProfessional certification such as CIA, CPA, or equivalent is an advantageRequired Skills:Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Excellent report writing skills suitable for senior-level readers.Critical thinking and problem-solving ability.Adaptability and the ability to perform in fast-paced, multicultural environments.Fluency in English ; additional languages are a plus.Additional InformationWhy SGS?Opportunity to work with a global leader in inspection, verification, testing, and certification.Collaborative and inclusive work environment.Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional growth and development.Join Us: At SGS, we are dedicated to fostering an open, friendly, and supportive culture that thrives on teamwork.
