Roles & Responsibilities
Hands-On MMx & Advanced Modeling
* Directly design, build, and validate Marketing Mix Models (MMx), including variable engineering, model selection, diagnostics, and ROI interpretation
* Lead scenario simulations and budget optimization analyses using econometric and optimization techniques
* Develop predictive, causal, and segmentation models to inform brand and omnichannel strategies
* Ensure reproducible code, documentation, and scalable deployment frameworks
Agentic AI & Advanced Analytics Execution
* Build and deploy AI-driven decision systems, including predictive models and agentic AI frameworks
* Develop prototypes and production-ready models using Python/R and modern ML toolkits
* Establish model validation, monitoring, and recalibration processes
* Ensure interpretability, transparency, and business alignment of AI outputs
Model Trust & Adoption
* Translate technical outputs into clear, defensible business narratives
* Partner with Brand, Commercialization AI Strategy and Analytics teams, and other functional teams to embed model outputs into planning processes
* Build confidence in advanced analytics through structured validation and sensitivity analyses
Talent Development & Capability Building
* Actively train and mentor junior analysts and data scientists on MMx, econometrics, AI/ML techniques, and best practices
* Conduct code reviews and establish modeling standards
* Build reusable playbooks, templates, and modeling frameworks
Skills & Competencies
* Proficiency with causal inference and incrementality tools (geo-experiments, matched markets, synthetic controls, uplift modeling). Expertise in Bayesian/hierarchical MMx, adstock/distributed lag, saturation/response curve modeling, and operationalizing these methodologies in automated pipelines and platforms
* Proven experience launching and scaling agentic AI solutions (multi-agent systems, LLMs, RAG, semantic layers, real-time architectures).
* Deep proficiency in enabling agent collaboration, negotiation, and task orchestration, including coordination of agent roles/functions within a commercial analytics or decision science context.
Experience & Qualifications
* BA/BS required; advanced degree preferred with special consideration for degrees in life/physical sciences, applied sciences (computer science, mathematics, data science), or engineering
* 10+ years in pharmaceutical commercial analytics or advanced analytics experience with most of this experience in driving MMx projects
* Proven track record of personally building and delivering MMx models in US market
* Experience training and mentoring analytics teams
* Proven experience operationalizing LLMs for commercial use cases—knowledge retrieval, summarization, generative analytics, automation of insight generation,
* Experience embedding AI analytics platforms into commercial workflows with enterprise-wide adoption.
