Permanent Vet at Sundean Vets, Gloucestershire Up to £65,000 (DOE) pro rata Relocation support of up to £5000 & welcome bonus of £5000 (pro rata)   At inspiring vet care, our people are at the heart of everything we do. As the UK’s number one vet care provider, we're trusted with the care of over 2 million animals, delivering our purpose of healthier animals and happier owners.   This is a fantastic opportunity for a vet looking to build confidence and depth in general practice. The role will involve surgery, but there's also a requirement to cover consultations with continuity of care and medical case development. The role would suit a vet with some post-graduate experience in first-opinion practice. The role will be split between Cinderford (70%) and Lydney (30%).

About Us

Sundean Vets is a well-established, multi-branch small animal practice with sites in Cinderford, Lydney and Hartpury. We are proud of our collaborative, family culture and our commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate veterinary care.   We have a strong and stable clinical team composed of six experienced Veterinary Surgeons and eight skilled, supportive nursing colleagues. Within the vet team, we benefit from a wide range of clinical interests and advanced training, including certificates in Small Animal Dentistry, Diagnostic Imaging and Small Animal Medicine, alongside a colleague nearing completion of a Surgical Certificate. This breadth of experience allows excellent case discussion, informal mentoring and strong clinical support across both routine and complex cases.

Here's What the Team Have to Say

“As one of the newest members of the Cinderford team, I’ve felt supported from my very first day. I’ve been encouraged to take on new challenges straight away, including leading our practice towards achieving the Cat Friendly Clinic award, which has been a fantastic opportunity. Everyone is approachable, supportive and genuinely wants to see each other succeed. What stands out most to me is how passionate the team is about animal welfare and ensuring every patient receives the best possible care. It’s a friendly practice with a great team atmosphere, and I’m really enjoying being part of it.” - Tara, RVN
