Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal Logistics Engineer/Sr. Principal Logistics Engineer to join its team in Roy UT.
What you will get to do:

Primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
* Support development of a product support plan demonstrating solutions for all 12 IPS elements
* Synthesize logistics data, develop and maintain metric dashboards, and create reportsto drive operational insight and decision-making.
* Use provisioning data to identify, select, catalog and determine support material requirements, and in the development of Provisioning Parts List and design Change Notifications.
* Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and configuration rationales; develop and execute unit-test scenarios and data sets.
* Produce and maintain comprehensive logistics support documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards.
* Develop and maintain logistics database
* Collaborate with cross-functional leaders and SMEs to architect integrated logistics solutions that align with strategic objectives and sustain long-term capability.
* Foster strong relationships with the user community, acting as a trusted resource and advisor while ensuring leadership involvement and ownership of logistics initiatives.
Basic Qualifications:
Principal Logistics Engineer:
* Bachelor's degree in STEM and 5 years of experience, 3 years of experience with master’s degree, 0 years of experience with PhD.
* Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years
* Ability to obtain both Top Secret clearance and Special Access within a reasonable period as determined by the business needs of the company.
* 1 year of experience interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and product data sheets for electrical components.
* 1 year of experience developing logistics plans for weapons systems in accordance with MIL Standards.
* Knowledge and application of all 12 Integrated Product Support elements.
