Apply Now Location Ahmedabad, India Salary Open Job Type Full-time Date Posted July 8th, 2026 View All Jobs Senior Mechanical Draftsman at PierSight Location Ahmedabad, India Salary Open Job Type Full-time Date Posted July 8th, 2026 Apply Now View All Jobs Download File Role: Senior Mechanical DraftsmanLocation: AhmedabadExperience Requirements: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience Responsibilities:· Responsible for the generation of Fabrication drawing based on 3D CAD model of the items or sketches.· Proficiency in generation of assembly drawings which should carry all necessary instruction required for working assemblies.· Engineering drawings to be made on standard CAD software like Autodesk Inventor or equivalent.· Drawings should be precise, error free and all standard practices to be followed.· Carry out material selection, Preparation of BOM for the design of the FM and Non FM components.· Compatibility of all parts should be checked in assembly having multiple parts in 3D model.· Implementation of all comments of Design engineer and QA in the drawing.· Coordination and Discussion with the party doing fabrication in case of doubt or complicated components.· Make PDF of the drawing file and attach step file of 3D Model.· Should be able to generate 3D model of simple mechanical systems independently. Minimum Qualifications:· Certificate in Mechanical Draftsman course from recognized ITI· 3+ years of professional experience as Draftsman.· Proficiency in using standard 2D and 3D CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, Inventor etc) Preferred Skill and Experience:· Experience of drawing of packages and other items required for Satellite or payload parts.· Strong understanding and application of GD&T.· Experience managing CAD models and drawings.· Experience in using 2D and 3D CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor)· PPT skills (equipped to present to internal/external stakeholders) Apply Now
