Sr. Regional Environmental Engineer, AWS Environmental Team
Role responsibilities
The role involves leading environmental due diligence for AWS data center site selection and acquisition, developing regional and site-specific environmental permitting strategies, and ensuring compliance during design and construction. The engineer will also communicate environmental requirements and risks to internal and external partners and coordinate with various teams to optimize site designs.
Requirements
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent and at least 7 years of experience in environmental due diligence, permitting, and compliance projects. A strong understanding of multi-media environmental regulations and experience with CWA 404 and NPDES permitting is essential.
