About the role and team
Leading Sales Operations at Uber means building the strategic and analytical backbone for a business that moves the real world. In this role, you will be a high-leverage partner to commercial leaders, ensuring our sales engine—from high-velocity SMB acquisition to complex enterprise deals—is set up to scale and win. You will navigate the "messy" reality of a multi-billion dollar marketplace, turning complex data into a clear path forward for our sales, marketing, and product teams.
This is a role for a hands-on operator who thrives in ambiguity and carries the weight of decisions that directly impact Uber’s profitability. You’ll need to lead with clarity, manage high-stakes cross-functional tension, and act as a bridge between technical product roadmaps and real-world sales execution. If you are a sharp, steady problem solver motivated by the challenge of optimizing performance at a global scale, this is where you’ll grow.
What you’ll do
- Lead the strategy and execution of commercial business cadences, including sales forecasting, pipeline reviews, and QBRs to drive discipline and accountability.
- Partner with Account Executives and Data Analysts to ensure flawless campaign launches and mid-flight optimizations for our high-impact advertising business.
- Diagnose systemic performance issues using cutting-edge analytics and design repeatable playbooks to improve sales effectiveness and productivity.
- Own the "operational voice" in product discussions, advocating for tooling improvements and system changes that reduce bottlenecks and increase scalability.
- Build and manage strategic relationships with cross-functional stakeholders in Finance, HR, and Legal to align resources with our most aggressive growth targets.
- Supervise and coach operational or offshore teams to ensure high standards of campaign execution, data reliability, and project delivery.
