This role will provide hands-on experience by assisting in the development and maintenance of the company’s Quality Management System supporting advanced analytical technology areas (e.g. biospecimens, cell services, histology, etc.).Must-Have Qualifications (Education, Skills, Experience):Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in life sciences preferred or other related fields such as legal may be consideredInterest in quality assurance in the biotechnology industryStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to conduct research and interpret complex conceptsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Excellent written and verbal communication skillsKey Responsibilities:Support a variety of Quality Assurance (QA) activities, projects, and initiatives, including process improvement and harmonization, and audit prepParticipates in supplier qualification activities, including follow-ups, downloading certificates, etc.General administrative activities such as scanning and filing of relevant QA documentsMaintain databases for supplier dataCompile periodic quality metricsProvides support for members of the QA team at various sitesBenefits of Internship:Gain practical experience in quality assurance and understand the value and impact in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectorLearn the role of a specialty lab service provider in clinical trials and the drug development lifecycleExposure to international standards and global regulatory frameworks such as Good Clinical Practice (GCP)Opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects impacting quality and complianceCompensation and Benefits:This is a “for credit” internship.
