We are currently seeking a ERP Senior Specialist to join our team in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, PAN India, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).
Role purpose
Lead the extraction, transformation, loading, and reconciliation of HCM, Core HR, and Payroll data for the divested business unit, ensuring that active workers, assignments, payroll relationships, element entries, balances, payment methods, work structures, and payroll-related conversion data are migrated accurately and securely into the target Fusion instance.
Key responsibilities
- Own HCM, Core HR, and Payroll data conversion execution for in-scope workforce populations.
- Profile source HCM data to identify active employees, contingent workers, pending workers, assignments, work relationships, managers, departments, jobs, grades, positions, locations, legal employers, payroll relationships, and payroll eligibility.
- Prepare source-to-target mapping for person numbers, worker types, legal entities, payrolls, departments, jobs, positions, grades, locations, supervisors, costing, banks, payment methods, and payroll balances.
- Develop or coordinate extraction logic using HCM Extracts, BI Publisher, REST APIs, HDL exports where appropriate, and staged transformation logic.
- Prepare HDL/HSDL/load-ready files for person, work relationship, assignment, salary, element entries, payment methods, payroll relationships, costing, balances, and related HCM objects as applicable.
- Coordinate with functional leads to apply data privacy, masking, security, and regulatory controls during migration.
- Support payroll conversion design including opening balances, year-to-date balances, arrears, deductions, element entries, retro items, tax details, and bank/payment data.
- Support OTL and Projects dependencies by ensuring time reporters, project resources, assignments, schedules, and eligibility are available for downstream processes.
- Execute mock conversions, analyze HDL/import errors, correct transformation defects, and manage retest cycles.
- Build reconciliation reports for worker counts, assignments, payroll relationships, element entries, balances, payment methods, and payroll parallel comparison results.
- Support final cutover, post-load validation, payroll parallel, and hypercare issue resolution.
Required skills and experience
- Hands-on experience migrating Oracle Fusion HCM and Payroll data using HDL, HSDL, HCM Extracts, BI Publisher, REST APIs, or related loaders.
- Strong understanding of Core HR object models, date-effective records, work relationships, assignments, payroll relationships, element entries, balances, costing, and payment methods.
- Experience with payroll conversion, balance loading, payroll reconciliation, and payroll parallel testing support.
- Strong SQL/data transformation skills and ability to work with complex date-effective and hierarchical data.
- Understanding of data privacy, security, sensitive personal data, and controlled handling of payroll/HR data.
- Ability to troubleshoot HDL errors, dependency issues, object sequencing, and validation failures.
- Experience coordinating with OTL, Projects, Finance, integrations, and reporting teams for downstream workforce dependencies.
- Strong documentation skills for mapping, transformation rules, load files, reconciliation reports, and cutover steps.

- In-scope workforce population is migrated accurately with correct work structures, assignments, payroll relationships, and security dependencies.
- Payroll balances and parallel results reconcile to agreed thresholds.
- HDL/HSDL loads are repeatable, controlled, and executable within cutover timelines.
- HR and payroll business owners approve migration results before go-live.
