To maintain speech and language special education records and documentation as directed by licensed supervisor.QualificationsMinimum Education/Certification: Bachelor’s degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited college or university (or Bachelor’s degree plus courses required to obtain the SLP-Assistant License)Valid Texas license as a speech-language therapy assistant granted by the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation for Speech-Language Pathology and AudiologySpecial Knowledge/SkillsBilingual proficiency as defined by Irving ISD requirements for Supplemental Duty and Pay, preferredKnowledge of habilitation and rehabilitation of speech, language, and hearing disordersExcellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to travel to multiple work locations as assignedMinimum ExperienceMinimum of 50 hours of observation and direct clinical service as directed by the Assistant’s License requirementsProgram ManagementMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:Plan and provide appropriate individual and group therapy to students consistent with speech/language goals contained in the Individual Education Plans (IEPs)...
