Goods In Supervisor
Salary: £32,779.32 per annum
Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts, 06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00
The Role
We're looking for an experienced Goods In Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day running of the Goods In operation, ensuring products are received safely, accurately, and efficiently while maintaining high service standards.
Reporting to the Shift Manager, you'll lead a team of Goods In Operatives and Section Leaders, driving productivity, compliance, and continuous improvement across the department. You'll also deputise for the Shift Manager when required.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and motivate the Goods In team to achieve operational targets and service levels.
Ensure all activities are carried out safely and in line with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
Monitor productivity, quality, and accuracy, driving continuous improvement where required.
Ensure stock is received and processed accurately within agreed timescales.
Maintain compliance with GDP, MHRA, and other relevant industry standards.
Manage team performance, attendance, training, and development.
Plan resources effectively to meet operational demands.
Conduct regular team briefings and maintain clear communication across departments.
Support investigations into errors and implement corrective actions where necessary.
Maintain excellent housekeeping and health & safety standards throughout the department.

About You
Previous supervisory experience within a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory processes.
Experience leading, coaching, and developing teams.
Good understanding of GDP and regulated warehouse environments.
Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing competing priorities.
PC literate with good administration skills.
