CARS employs Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with decades of experience working in the Federal marketplace.  The Senior Front End Developer will develop visualization software to understand data where proximity and location matter. Your work will help developer communities re-imagine the capabilities of location-aware software applications that enable real-world improvements. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain back-end services and APIsCollaborate with front-end developers and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutionsBuild and enhance CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment speed and reliabilityEnsure application performance, security, and scalabilityParticipate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practicesMaintain production systems and resolve issues as required.Other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s in computer science, Mathematics, and Geographic Information Systems(GIS), or a STEM-related field5+ years of experience with web design and web front-end developmentProven web design/development experience using HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript and JavaScript.Experience with front-end development libraries, such as React, Angular, Vue, etc.Background building high availability and high scalability solutionsActive or Current (within two years of active) Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility Preferred Qualifications:Master's in Computer Science, Mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or STEM-related fieldEsri certificationCompTIA Security + certificationExperience with containerization technologies such as Docker and KubernetesFamiliarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability toolsExposure to DevSecOps practices and secure development pipelinesExperience working in Agile or Scrum development environments Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team settingMust be capable of managing multiple efforts with time-related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environmentDemonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individualsFriendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applicationsProficient with Microsoft Office Applications, and experience working in a home office setting, as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues.Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, and previous customer service experience strongly desired.Good problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it How you’ll grow  At Chenega MIOS, our professional development plan focuses on helping our team members at every level of their careers to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
