We are seeking candidates who model our values: invest in every relationship, lead with curiosity, champion diverse perspectives, turn inputs into actions, and uphold trust through integrity. Skills and Competencies6–9 years of experience in QA engineering with a strong focus on automationProficiency in Python-based testing frameworks such as pytest and unittest, including fixtures and parametrizationExperience testing AWS serverless applications, including Lambda and API GatewayHands-on experience with moto and/or LocalStack for AWS service mockingExperience integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions or AWS CodePipelineStrong API testing skills, including REST, contract testing, and regression testingExperience validating data pipelines for data accuracy and schema integrityAbility to collaborate across multiple squads and effectively manage competing prioritiesExposure to AWS Batch, Step Functions, and performance testing is a plusDemonstrated interest in leveraging AI tools for test generation and quality strategy optimizationEducationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experienceResponsibilitiesDrive quality and scalability by designing and implementing robust automation frameworks for a serverless Python-based platform.Build and enhance automated test frameworks for AWS Lambda functions, APIs, and Batch processing jobsDevelop and maintain integration and end-to-end API test suitesImplement and optimize CI/CD testing stages to ensure efficient and reliable deploymentsUtilize moto or LocalStack to create effective AWS test environments for development and testingDefine and enforce test standards, coverage benchmarks, and best practices across teamsValidate outputs of data pipelines, including AWS Glue and Batch processes, ensuring data correctness and consistencyPerform contract testing and regression testing to maintain system integrityEnable shift-left testing by integrating tests into pull request stagesTrack, analyze, and report on quality metrics to drive continuous improvementAbout the TeamThe team operates in a fast-paced, collaborative multi-squad environment focused on building and delivering scalable serverless APIs, data pipelines, and frontend applications.
