Job Description:
An opportunity for Commodity Manager Detail Parts Space Systems has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe.
Tasks & responsibilities:
Be accountable for leading the sub-MFT. Be the entry point to company for commodity management (per commodity products/services).
Support the implementation of the Commodity strategy for Space Systems Detail Parts
Secure long-term supplier relationships
Ensure that risks related to the supply of products are managed in accordance with the Procurement procedures
Lead the (Sub-) Commodity Multi-Functional Team
Lead the tender and supplier selection process
Lead and contribute to Procurement / Value Creation projects & initiatives that aim at delivering synergies and savings
Promote Sustainability, Innovation, Resilience and Global Sourcing initiatives as enablers to secure the competitiveness of the Space Systems business line
Contribute to the success of all Space Programmes by securing on time, on quality and on cost completion of all development milestones of the suppliers in portfolio
Lead negotiations with suppliers to assure program expectations are met
Set-up and negotiate contractual agreements with suppliers
Lead Supplier Evaluation Development (SED) and define action plans to develop strategic suppliers
Lead complex and international projects in the frame of the corresponding MFTs, ensuring full alignment and contribution to the Airbus Defence and Space strategy
Ensure contribution to fulfill company Geo Return strategy regarding Space Systems projects
Ensures cascade of the Airbus integrity standards across the supplier base, including the deployment of the Airbus Code of Conduct
Requirements:
Degree in Engineering, Business Management or equivalent
Strong interpersonal and communication skills in an international environment
Strategic thinking, ability to see the big picture and synthetize
Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to persuade, influence and convince
Able to anticipate, assess and mitigate risks
Negotiation level of English
