Location: Field Based - Newcastle Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus + Standby + Overtime + Benefits Working hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday Security Clearance: This position requires the ability & willingness to undergo and obtain a Secure Vetting (SC) clearance. What you'll do Our promise is to ensure our consumer and business customers are confidently connected to the Vodafone network by providing an outstanding level of service at all times. As a Climbing Engineer, you will play an integral part of the Vodafone Field Engineering team, performing installation and maintenance activities in support of the fixed and mobile networks as well as Vodafone business solutions. You will also install, commission and maintain the Vodafone network, products and services to agreed Vodafone standards and service levels without compromising safe working practices. Main responsibilities: You will play an integral part of the Vodafone Field Engineering team, performing installation, commissioning and maintenance activities in support of the fixed and mobile networks as well as Vodafone business solutions. Regular climbing of Vodafone's extensive fixed and mobile infrastructure up to 40 meters as well as rooftop-based working is essential. The role holder will be expected to undertake regular health assessments to ensure that all aspects of the role is carried out safely Adherence to quality and H&S standards as well as achieving agreed performance targets is essential to this role.
