We are seeking candidates who model our values: invest in every relationship, lead with curiosity, champion diverse perspectives, turn inputs into actions, and uphold trust through integrity. Skills and Competencies3–5 years of software engineering experience preferably with product-based companies, in a backend or systems-oriented roleProficiency in C#/.NET for backend services and APIsStrong understanding of backend system design and object-oriented programming principlesExperience with cloud-native development, with AWS preferredHands-on experience with Docker and KubernetesExperience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and microservicesFamiliarity with relational and/or NoSQL databasesExposure to CI/CD pipelines and observability toolsCollaborative mindset with strong problem-solving skillsEducationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experienceResponsibilitiesThis role is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable backend services that power Moody’s SaaS platforms.Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services supporting Moody’s SaaS productsDevelop, test, and maintain backend services using C#/.NETWrite clean, efficient, well-documented, and maintainable codeCollaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and cross-functional stakeholdersParticipate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practicesTroubleshoot and resolve production and pre-production issuesContribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharingStay current with modern development practices, tools, and technologiesSupport the design and operation of scalable, multi-tenant SaaS systemsAbout the TeamThe Platform Engineering team within Insurance Solutions builds the core services and infrastructure that power Moody’s SaaS products.
