We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Dorset Coast Vets on a part-time basis.
At Dorset Coast Vets we have state-of-the-art surgical facilities to deliver a gold standard of care to our patients and clients. We have separate cat and dog operating theatres, fully equipped to undertake a wide range of surgical procedures.
Practice Highlights
* Experienced team made up of 6 Veterinary Surgeons, 10 Veterinary Nurses and 10 Receptionists * Strong culture of learning and supporting one another * Excellent facilities including two dental suites, x-ray, ultrasound, and separate dog and cat wards and reception areas * Dedicated nurse consulting room, allowing nurses to fully utilise their skillsHow You’ll Make a Difference
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.Working Pattern
* 36.5 hours per week * A mix of early and late shifts between 8:00am and 7:00pm * 1 in 8 Saturdays, 8:00am–4:30pm * No out-of-hours work, Sundays or bank holidaysGeneral Responsibilities
* Anaesthetic monitoring and inpatient care * Running nurse clinics and providing triage support * Surgical nursing, including Stage 1 dental procedures * Working collaboratively with vets and the nursing team to deliver excellent patient and client careYou Might Be a Great Fit If...
We’re looking for a confident and motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse who enjoys working as part of a team and delivering high standards of care.
