## About this Role
We are seeking a Security Operations Business Manager to manage and coordinate security operations functions, ensuring the protection of Vodafone’s infrastructure, services, and customer data. This role acts as a key interface between technical security teams and customers, focusing on compliance, risk reduction, and continuous improvement across security services. The position plays a critical role in governance, audit readiness, and performance optimisation, including oversight of security score metrics and cloud transformation initiatives.
## What you will do
Maintain communication and governance with internal and external customers for security compliance services.
Participate in all project phases, including cloud migration and transformation initiatives.
Identify and address operational security risks, providing improvement recommendations.
Own and manage governance models, ensuring alignment with agreed objectives.
Monitor performance, optimise operational costs, and enhance service efficiency.
Analyse security score trends (including CHARM metrics) and initiate remediation actions.
Ensure timely communication and resolution of audit findings and compliance gaps.
Manage and resolve customer escalations related to security services.
Support onboarding and knowledge transfer activities for new team members.
Contribute to strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects aligned with technical expertise.
## Who you are
Experienced in IT service management, platform engineering, or application services (minimum 5 years).
Knowledgeable in cyber security practices and frameworks.
Familiar with compliance standards such as SOX, ISO 9000/27000, PCI-DSS, ITIL, and Agile methodologies.
Structured and organised, with the ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
Solution-focused with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Committed to ongoing technical learning and professional development.
Educated to Bachelor’s or Master’s degree level in IT Engineering or a related field.
Proficient in English (B2/C1 level, written and spoken).
