Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Vehicle Driver Patrol in Brookshire, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to patrons and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities in a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while maintaining an armed presence in accordance with post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, high-traffic areas, and delivery activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, and/or incidents according to site procedures.
- Support loss prevention and asset protection efforts by documenting observations, completing required reports, and communicating with local management and/or public emergency responders when needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a Texas Level III Armed Certification.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
