Local Team Collaboration:Lead our close-knit team of 10 physicians and 6 APPs at Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center.Work alongside our dedicated providers, committed to providing patient-centered care in collaboration with all stakeholders in a positive manner.Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center is a 136-bed hospital in Southeast Washington, D.C. The Emergency Department has 32 beds dedicated to the Adult ER, with Children’s National Hospital staffing the pediatric emergency department.Accountable, on-site leadership: a local medical director who knows the community and owns the department's performance, supported by Sound's leadership-development tools.Stable, well-staffed teams: cohesive teams aligned on our patient-first culture of excellence, which means less reliance on premium temp labor and more predictable shifts.Qualifications:Board certified/eligible Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience.Medical Directors must be ABEM/ABOEM certified with at least one (1) year of medical leadership experience in a similar or larger volume department.Certifications Required: ATLS, ACLS, and PALS.Authorized to work in the United States.Scheduling:40 hours of Physician coverage and 24 hours of APP coverage daily.The monthly workload for...
