This position is perfect for individuals with experience in administrative support, medical assisting, medical office operations, or warehouse/logistics who excel in fast‑paced, detail‑driven environments.You’ll be the first point of contact for incoming samples, ensuring they are received, documented, stored, and delivered with precision. Your organization, multitasking ability, and commitment to accuracy will directly support our scientists, client services team, and overall lab workflow.What You’ll DoReceive and unpack sample coolers and containers, documenting all incoming materials quickly and accuratelyVerify and record sample temperatures upon receiptPerform preservation checks on aqueous samples across various container sizesCreate jobs, enter bottle records, and generate labels using LIMS in alignment with chain‑of‑custody requirementsLabel sample containers and ensure proper identification throughout the workflowTransfer samples between reception, storage areas, and laboratory departmentsPrepare and ship sample coolers and packagesAssemble client bottle kits with accuracy and attention to detailMaintain clear, complete, and compliant documentationRemove historical samples and dispose of expired materialsCommunicate sample details to Client Services and lab teams to support timely processingFollow all SOPs and safety procedures to maintain a safe, compliant work environmentDeliver exceptional customer service to internal and external partnersPerform additional duties as assignedQualificationsHigh School Diploma required; Associate degree in a science‑related field strongly preferredExperience in an environmental laboratory preferredExcellent customer service and communication abilitiesA mindset that values accuracy, organization, and teamworkStrong English language, math, and reasoning skillsStrong computer skills and comfort with digital systemsAbility to lift, carry, push, or pull 50+ pounds frequentlyIf you’re detail‑oriented, organized, and ready to support a mission‑critical part of lab operations, this role offers a rewarding opportunity to grow your skills and make a meaningful impact. CompensationThe expected salary range for this position is $20 - $22 hourly.
