As we continue to expand, we are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer with a solid background in industrial programming to help develop, commission, and improve our electolysers.

The Role As an Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and implementation of control systems for our electrolysers and process equipment. You will work closely with mechanical, process, and electrical engineering teams throughout the entire product lifecycle—from concept and development to testing, commissioning, and continuous improvement. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a smaller company environment where decisions are made quickly, responsibilities are broad, and your contribution has a direct impact on the success of the business. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop new PLC based automation solutionsMaintain and update existing control systemsPLC programming and troubleshooting (e.g. CODESYS,TIA Portal)Develop and maintain HMI/SCADA solutionsDesign of safety system (e.g. safety PLC, safety relays)Support commissioning, startup, and validation of equipmentWork with instrumentation, sensors, valves, and process control systemsParticipate in risk assessments and safety-related system designCollaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teamsDevelop technical documentation, electrical schematics, and operating proceduresOptimize system performance, reliability, and maintainabilitySupport compliance with relevant safety and industry standardsBackground and qualificationsDegree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similarExperience working with different programming platforms such as CODESYS and TIA PortalExperience in industrial automation and control systemsUnderstanding of electrical systems, instrumentation, and industrial networksFluent in Swedish & English, both written and spokenExperience in process industries, such as chemicals, gases, energy, or manufacturingExperience with safety...
