We are looking for a Settlements Supervisor to join our Dealing Services team. This role is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate settlement of trades across the global markets in which we operate, working to strict market deadlines and collaborating with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
The successful candidate will manage settlement activities throughout the trade lifecycle, working closely with teams across Dealing Services, Operations, Governance and Technology, as well as external brokers, custodians and market participants. This role offers the opportunity to develop expertise across multiple settlement processes while contributing to a collaborative, fast-paced team focused on delivering operational excellence.

The Settlements Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the Settlements team, ensuring the timely and accurate settlement of all purchase and sale transactions. The role monitors trade processes to ensure the accurate movement of stock and cash, while maintaining compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
The role also supports the successful implementation of new products, services and processes within a robust control environment, ensuring adherence to regional regulations. Working closely with the team and key stakeholders, the Settlements Supervisor provides day-to-day guidance, supports departmental projects and drives operational excellence through effective workload management and continuous process improvement. Key responsibilities:
- Support the Settlements Manager in the day-to-day supervision of the Settlements team, ensuring workloads are effectively managed and operational objectives are achieved.
- Oversee the timely and accurate settlement of trades, including stock and cash movements, payment approvals, ledgering, core feeds and the issuance of client advice notes in line with regulatory requirements.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with key internal stakeholders, including Plan Managers, Issuer Services, CISIL, OC&G, Audit, CCS, CTS, Risk and Compliance.
- Provide subject matter expertise to support business initiatives, projects and the implementation of new products, services and regulatory changes.
- Monitor settlement activities, identify and resolve issues proactively, and ensure regulatory breaches are escalated and reported where required.
- Review and enhance operational procedures, controls and working practices to minimise risk and drive continuous improvement.
- Support the team with technical guidance, coaching and day-to-day operational queries to ensure high standards of service delivery.
What will you bring to the role?
We are looking for a Settlements Administrator with:
- Knowledge of Issuer Services, Employee Share Plans and Settlement processes would be advantageous.
- An understanding of the regulatory framework relating to share dealing, including COBS, CASS and SYSC.
- Experience using the CREST GUI system would be beneficial.
